Defense Verdict in Kings County Jury Trial

Partner Bruin Hays secured a defense verdict in a jury trial in Kings County involving allegations that an ENT oncologist and a laryngologist did not timely diagnose the decedent’s vocal cord cancer which led to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical removal of the vocal cords and then death. After a four week trial representing both defendants, the jury returned a verdict in favor of both defendants.
