Keleisha Milton

As a merit scholarship recipient, Keleisha obtained her Jurist Doctor Degree in 2022 from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During Law School, Keleisha served as a board member of the Black Law Students Association, a Global Mentor to International Students and a Peer Mentor to Law Students.

She is a Public Service Award recipient due to her pro-bono work as a law student volunteer on the Nassau County Bar Association COVID-Task force, a student lawyer at Hofstra’s Deportation Defense Clinic, and a law student volunteer at the Legal Hand Call Center under the supervision of Judge Fern Fisher.

Prior to joining our firm, Keleisha worked at a Manhattan-based civil litigation defense firm, primarily handling Municipal Liability claims. Her responsibilities included all areas of litigation defense including document review, drafting of reports, preparation of pleadings, and pre-trial discovery.
