Decnis Pimentel

Decnis joined Rubin Paterniti Gonzalez Rizzo Kaufman LLP in 2023 as a Law Clerk in the firm’s New York City office.

Decnis graduated from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2023 with an Advanced Certificate in Health Law and Policy and as a merit scholarship recipient. During law school, Decnis interned at the Westchester County Board of Legislators, the New York State Judicial Institute, and with Former Acting Chief Administrative Judge Amaker where she was engaged in all elements of research, legislation writing, and judicial training. She also worked for an insurance defense firm, where her responsibilities encompassed all aspects of litigation defense, such as document review, report drafting, pleading preparation, and pre-trial discovery.

In law school, Decnis made a commitment to creating environments that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is the founder of numerous pipeline programs at both Pace Law School and Pace University. Decnis also served as a member of the Black Law Student Association and the Latin Law Student Association.

Decnis received her Bachelor of Science from Pace University in 2020.
