Leonardo Sandoval

Leonardo (“Leo”) Sandoval joined Rubin Paterniti Gonzalez Rizzo Kaufman LLP in 2023 as an Associate in the firm’s Long Island office. He concentrates his practice on healthcare and medical malpractice defense.

Leo is a 2023 graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he was involved in numerous organizations including the First-Generation Law Students Association, where he served as the Vice President, the Latino Law Students Association and the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association. During law school, Leo interned at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and with a large insurance defense firm. Leo was also selected as one of eight students to participate in the Hofstra Criminal Justice Clinic and was one of twelve students selected to the NYS Pro Bono Scholars program, wherein he interned with the Children’s Law Bureau at Suffolk County Legal Aid Society.

Leo received his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2020. Leo is admitted to practice law throughout the Courts of New York State.
