Raymond Nabhani

Raymond Nabhani is Senior Counsel and resident of the Firm’s New York City office. Ray is an accomplished civil litigator, and focuses his practice handling complex insurance defense matters, with a particular focus on New York Labor Law and General Liability, from inception through trial and appeal. Ray’s extensive experience includes complex claims involving Labor Law, construction defect, products liability, premises liability, toxic torts (including mold exposure, lead paint), automobile liability, sports liability, dram shop actions, property damage and indemnification.

Ray’s aggressive approach through case investigation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation and appeals consistently yields successful outcomes for our varied clients. Ray has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and successfully mediated dozens of high exposure matters for cost-effective resolutions. Ray also has many years of experience in matter resolution, including assisting his clients in not only defending claims, but recovery of assets with regard to liens, and many various contract disputes, including resolution of mechanic’s liens.

Ray previously served as outside counsel to one of the world’s largest insurance carriers and was formerly associated with National and Regional insurance defense firms in New York. Ray obtained his law degree from the City University of New York School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Maryland at College Park.

In his spare time, Ray is an avid New York Giants fan and season ticket holder. He also volunteers as coach for his children’s multiple sports teams, and serves on the board of directors for the local youth football program where he resides.
