Nicholas J. Albanese, Jr.

Nicholas Albanese is a partner with over twenty years of experience defending physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers against claims of medical malpractice throughout New York State, including every borough of New York City and the surrounding counties.

Nicholas’s practice concentrates on complex medical malpractice matters, which he handles from inception through resolution. He regularly conducts depositions, argues motions, and represents clients at mediation in high-exposure matters, with particular experience in claims involving surgical complications, delayed diagnosis, obstetrical injury, and hospital systems liability. He has also tried cases to verdict and maintains an active appellate practice, having drafted briefs and presented oral argument before the Appellate Division, Second Department.

In addition to his litigation work, Nicholas regularly counsels physicians, dentists, and institutional clients on risk management and represents healthcare professionals in matters before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline.

Nicholas is a graduate of Boston College and received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
