Samer is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, he served as an In-House Clinic Intern with the Cardozo Criminal Defense Clinic, where he provided in-court representation to individuals charged with misdemeanors in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Upon graduation, Samer served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kalimah H. Ahmad, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County, Civil Division.
Samer’s litigation training also includes internships with the New York State Department of Financial Services, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he supported the Civil Division’s defense of federal agencies in Federal Tort Claims Act litigation; and the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General’s Civil Rights Division.
Samer received his Master of Arts in Ethics and Society and his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Psychology, from Fordham University.
